Sherman “Sherm” Waltner has been a woodworker over 30 years specializing in decorative boxes. Sherm works primarily in native Missouri cherry and walnut, with his work highlighted by beautiful burls and exotic woods. Much of his wood is milled locally and kiln dried to perfection.
Sherm has shown his boxes in Missouri and Oklahoma , but has customers all over the United States, with some of his boxes even travelling as far as Sweden and Germany That he has many repeat customers is a testament both to the beauty and craftsmanship of his modestly priced boxes. These qualities have also made Sherm a perennial favorite at the Temple Israel Art Fest
