Temple Israel
Web site
November 9th will be the 5th annual Temple Israel's
Artfest, Jewelry sale, Bake sale, and Deli day.
This year will have the largest and most
varied selection of artists and artisans we have been privileged to assemble.

Due to many requests,
Mavrik Jewelers will be returning after two years absence with
their exclusive selection of beautiful
Israeli designer jewelry.
They have been extremely popular at Artfests
throughout the region and will show their stylish jewelry as well as some objects of Judaica.

We have a master of wood
turning
Ernie Lorenc. Ernie previously has shown his work only at galleries but has graciously
consented to participate in our show. These are stunning works of turned wood art should
not be missed.
Another
first time artisan at our show is
Terry Bloodworth who
with his son Gabe creates beautiful art glass, a number of their works will be displayed.

We also feature the return of
Jerry and
Lois Neal and their Raku,
Horsehair and other unique forms of pottery.
Lois will also be displaying her new line of handcrafted silver jewelry.
We will again
feature the hand-crafted wooden boxes of
Sherman
Waltner constructed of quality
Missouri hardwoods as
well as imported exotic woods. Sherman's boxes have been very popular and he will have
new, as well as more familiar styles on display.

Debbie Schlozman,
perennial favorite of the children (and the families) of our congregation Debbie will be
back again for her 5th year. Her items are marvelous handmade Judaica. which make great Hanukah gifts for children and adults.
Kathy Seale will be returning with hand-made and hand-painted silk scarves and purses from Cambodia. Of
special interest, Kathy donates the proceeds of these
sales to schools for young children in Cambodia.
Tracy King and Jan Porter will display one-of-a-kind hand-crafted jewelry created from natural
stones, beads, wires and crystals. Their
display was quite popular last year and we have had many requests for their return.
A special feature
will be prints and cards from
Juanita Herrell related to her beautiful mosaic interpretations of the
Seven Days of Creation. The mosaics are on permanent
display in our social hall, thanks to the generosity of
Drs.
Ruth Grant and Howard Schwartz.

We will also have
Limor
Katz-Evan's creations of tee-shirts with Hebrew Jewish theme hand-crafted Hanukah and
decorator candles from Safed, Israel; and other
imported Israeli items, including menorahs and Passover seder plates. We will even have a selection of
shofarim and tallitim.
We
will have our marvelous home made baked goods, including challah, rugalach, strudel,
baklavas, kugels, pies, cheesecakes and more.
Your taste buds will also be at our deli counter with imported corned beef
and pastrami in one pound packages along with delicious Jewish rye bread. Deli meats and rye
breads may be pre-ordered by contacting either Fred Hamburg at 881-4425 or fhamburg@mchsi.com, or contact Amber Hubbell at
